The sofa, the centrepiece of any living room, has been reinvented by Scandinavian designers. These creators, renowned for their sense of aesthetics and attention to detail, have given birth to iconic models that combine comfort, functionality, and elegance.

Scandinavian sofas are characterised by clean lines, natural materials, and a particular attention to ergonomics. They perfectly embody the concept of "hygge", the Danish notion referring to a feeling of well-being and comfort.

Scandinavian design experienced a significant boom in the mid-20th century, and sofas were no exception to this trend. Designers such as Carl Malmsten, Hans J. Wegner and others created models that have become design icons. These sofas are designed for open and bright living spaces, thus reflecting the Scandinavian architecture of the time.

Where to place a Scandinavian sofa?
