SUMMER IN DOUBLE TONES
When the light of summer gently touches interiors, every space is transformed. At NORKI, this season celebrates the subtle contrast of colours and materials, where the softness of pastel shades meets the depth of more intense tones, creating a perfect balance between elegance and character.
From Parisian flats to chalets in Gstaad, summer brings a breath of renewal to every room. Designer rugs become works of art beneath your feet, while noble materials — shearling, leather, cowhide, and fur — add texture and comfort.
The season’s palette plays with luminous ivory white, warm camel, soft yellow, pastel green, and deep navy blue, revealing a dialogue between lightness and depth, between modernity and authenticity.
Whether in a sun-filled mountain chalet or a contemporary apartment, each rug, cushion, armchair, and vintage object becomes a setting for light and colour. NORKI’s summer décor transforms your interior into a refined space where discreet luxury and the poetry of materials meet.
Each creation, imagined and crafted in France, celebrates exceptional craftsmanship and invites an art of living where design, light, and colour interact with elegance.

vintage curation
vintage passion
Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Carl Malmsten, Svante Skogh or Finn Juhl,
discover our Curation of mid-20th century Scandinavian vintage furniture, revisited and upholstered in Leather, Shearling, Sheepskin, or Fur.
This careful curation invites the greatest Scandinavian designers into your interiors.
Norki offers two vintage furniture curations, Les Collectionnistes and Les Classiques,
dedicated to Scandinavian vintage design from the 1930s-1970s.
These collections were born from the passion of Sonia Linard, founder of Norki and avid collector, and her husbands for the rare pieces of this prosperous post-war period. Mid-century Scandinavian design stands out for its clean lines and minimalist elegance. These emblematic pieces of furniture, with absolute comfort, reflect a lifestyle that deserves to be preserved.
Post-war, furniture needed to be robust and material efficient.
The demand was exponential, and the designers of the time embarked on an essential aesthetic renewal.
Designers had to meet the practical demands of modern life, clearly express an object’s function, which had to be structurally and aesthetically simple and unornamented, emphasize the object’s qualities, and serve the greatest number of people. As a result of this necessity for innovation, incredible materials emerged: single piece moulded plywood (like Arne Jacobsen's Ant Chair), metal, plastic, and fiberglass (such as Eero Saarinen's famous Tulip Chair) are just a few examples.
Under the artistic direction of Sonia Linard, each piece is carefully, almost lovingly, selected, then restored in our French Workshop. These pieces are renovated and reupholstered with the utmost care, respecting artisanal traditions, to honour the original design. Indeed, our mission is to enhance mid-20th century design while preserving the unique history of each piece.
These exceptional pieces of furniture, which have stood the test of time and eras, are tangible proof of the timelessness of these rare objects. Their lines adapt to all interiors, from the most classic to the most contemporary, and find their place in the most beautiful homes worldwide.
Our Maison is particularly proud to share this selection of unique objects with you!
