A collection of black and white throws, cushions, and seat signed by Norki
Norki Closes the Chapter of Its Rythme Collection
Some years stand out for their boldness. They shake up the established rules of a society that imposes its seasons – a summer collection, a winter collection.
True to its creative freedom, Norki follows its own path. Our Maison deliberately chooses not to produce a series of twenty-five pieces per collection, as the major fashion houses do, but rather to focus on the very conception of each piece.
Forms, materials, and ideas intersect in new ways. In 2025, Rythme unfolded in three small series of objects—three capsules, three creations per capsule—revealed throughout the year.
The Origins of Rythme
Born from a reflection on our relationship with time, Rythme draws inspiration from the natural cycles of life, the movements of the body, and musical rhythms. Just as music structures our perception of time through its varied tempos, the collection explores the resonance between the spaces we inhabit and our own life rhythms: childhood, adulthood, old age.
Rythme is an exploration of contrasts—between stillness and motion, speed and slowness, tension and fluidity. Each piece of furniture or décor becomes a note in a larger composition, an invitation to inhabit your own tempo. Dynamic lines, vibrant materials, bold contrasts: the collection celebrates the alternation of high and low notes, offering spaces that are as suited to momentum as they are to pause.
Chair, Throw, and Cushion
In a palette both sober and unexpected for our Maison, Norki presents its three new creations: the chair, the throw, and the cushion. Designs that are at once minimalist and highly complex, playing with the subtlety of black and white. The chair, classic yet contemporary, evokes the timeless elegance of Giorgetti style. The throw, square and generous, pairs a deep Scottish tartan with a white-and-black sheepskin side—a duality echoed in the matching cushion.
Together, these pieces embody a graphic harmony where simplicity converses with rich textures.
At the Heart of Creation
At the heart of creation, the artistic direction of our Maison, led by Sonia Linard, is both free and eclectic. Choices and creative directions are defined by Sonia, then developed closely with our workshop chief and the designers in our design office. This rigorous process transforms ideas into unique pieces while honouring the identity and values of the House. Each stage of collection development follows a well-defined chain, ensuring both technical excellence and artistic creativity. Each creation reflects our commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and originality, turning our collections into true wearable works of art.
A Collection’s Finale: Andante
Andante enters like a steady walk, a calm breath that restores time to its full depth. After the momentum of Allegro and the effervescence of Presto, this final capsule offers balance: the harmony of controlled rest. The gesture is deliberate, the inner rhythm regained. This is true time—the time of resonance, reflection, and the fullness of a moment fully lived.
Neither an end nor a beginning, Andante asserts itself as a musical closure: a precise, steady chord that concludes Rythme while opening the way to serenity. Rythme thus closes on a soothing note, faithful to the spirit of Norki: free, thoughtful, and ever in motion.
