A Maison of expertise and passion dedicated to chalet decoration, we had the immense privilege of designing the fur decoration of the largest chalet in Europe. From the very first sketches, we imagined a place where every space breathes luxury, warmth and emotion. We wanted to make its grand architecture resonate through noble, sensual materials capable of bringing softness, depth and character. In this spectacular chalet, fur does not merely decorate, it tells a story. It interacts with the light, accompanies the majesty of the volumes, warms the atmosphere and elevates the experience of those who stay there. We decorated each room as a world of its own, where refinement is not only seen, but felt, touched and experienced. It is this vision of sensitive and authentic luxury that we infused into every Norki creation.
Fur Throw, the Elegance of Envelopment
In the bedrooms, true havens of intimacy and serenity, we installed our Tsarine throw in white fox fur. This majestic piece embodies absolute softness and discreet sophistication, the kind that naturally imposes itself as an obvious choice. Its deep white hue, rich in subtle shades, echoes the surrounding snow and captures the light filtering through the chalet’s immense windows. Sunlight glides across the fur, revealing its natural sheen and enhancing its reflections, offering a soothing and poetic spectacle. Beyond its beauty, this throw envelops, reassures and warms. It creates a cocoon of comfort, a moment of pure well-being, where one loves to unwind after a day of emotion in the mountains. In these bedrooms, every detail has been designed to transform beauty into sensation, and this throw becomes a true signature of intensely lived luxury.
Fur Cushion, an Object of Desire
To complete these exceptional spaces, we imagined sable fur Alexandra cushions as true objects of desire. Their incredibly silky texture and perfectly precise finish place them naturally at the heart of the décor. They are not simple accessories, but key pieces, revealing style and personality. Their presence highlights the richness of the entire interior, reinforcing the harmony of a décor conceived entirely around fur and the emotions it conveys. We wanted each cushion to be a tactile experience, an invitation to touch, to feel, to appreciate the nobility of the material. In this chalet, they help create a luxurious yet warm atmosphere, where everything is softness, harmony and assured elegance. They embody the idea of the perfect detail, the one that transforms a beautiful interior into a setting of pure exception.
Fur Furniture, the Soul of an Exceptional Living Room
At the heart of the chalet, in the main living room, we revealed another expression of our expertise: furniture clad in fur. The Saint-Moritz armchair in mink fur stands here as an iconic piece. Four majestic armchairs are placed in front of a gigantic twenty-metre-high picture window, opening onto a breathtaking panorama. Between the power of nature and the sophistication of the interior, a fascinating dialogue is created. The dense, luxurious fur brings deep warmth and immediate comfort, while the spectacular view recalls the raw strength of the alpine landscape. The furniture becomes presence, identity, the very soul of the space. We wanted to create a living, elegant setting where one sits, contemplates and lets oneself be enveloped by beauty and softness. The living room becomes a stage of emotion, where fur fully embodies the art of hospitality.
Fur Wall, the Signature of Absolute Luxury
As both upholsterers and master furriers, we wanted to push excellence even further. We clad the walls of many rooms in Breitschwanz fur, offering the architecture a spectacular and rare dimension. This work, of extreme precision, requires exceptional artisanal mastery, an acute sense of detail and an intimate understanding of the material. Fur dresses the walls like a precious adornment, bringing visual depth, enveloping warmth and an incomparable tactile sensation. Each surface becomes a textile artwork, each room a sensual and refined jewel box. This wall paneling represents the very essence of Norki luxury: the constant pursuit of exception, the desire to create unique atmospheres and the ability to turn material into emotion.
