In the continuity of this tradition of excellence, our Workshop has chosen to broaden its horizons by adding a new string to its bow: embroidery. A true language of threads and beads, it now complements our historical and opens an infinite field of creations. At Norki, every embroidery piece is crafted in our French workshops by skilled craftswomen, trained in precision, delicacy, and the art of patient gestures.
Lunéville Embroidery: Haute Couture Reinvented
Lunéville embroidery was born in the 18th century, in Eastern France. Long reserved for haute couture houses, it has established itself as one of the most refined forms of textile artistry. Handcrafted with the Lunéville hook, this technique allows pearls, sequins, and beads to be applied with unmatched delicacy. At Norki, we have chosen to bring this savoir-faire into dialogue with our world of decoration and interior design. A Lunéville embroidery can thus adorn a cushion, enhance the headboard of a hotel, highlight a curtain with sparkling details, or bring a unique animal motif to life. This demanding art, embodied by the patience and virtuosity of our craftswomen, gives each piece a timeless and precious dimension. Alongside this ancestral expertise, Norki has invested in a state-of-the-art 7-head embroidery machine. This cutting-edge tool makes it possible to work with up to seven thread colours simultaneously and execute highly precise personalized patterns. Each project begins in our design office, where we imagine and sketch the pattern in close collaboration with our clients. Whether it is elegant lettering to mark a hotel’s name, a logo to be elevated, or a complex drawing, we translate each vision into an exceptional embroidery.
