Norki is showcasing items at the first exhibition dedicated to innovative expertise
On February 5 and 6, 2026, at the Hôtel de l’Industrie in Paris, La French Craft will inaugurate a new event dedicated to innovation driven by exceptional craftsmanship. The Prototype Fair aims to become a true accelerator for projects by fostering strategic encounters between creators, companies and investors.
Materials, uses, forms and processes will be at the heart of this edition, which highlights the cutting edge of Craft and the innovations shaping the future of artisanal professions. We are pleased to announce that Norki will be exhibiting at the Prototype Fair. As a company certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV – Living Heritage Company), our Maison will present its exceptional expertise and latest developments alongside other distinguished houses such as Kramer Groupe, Rinck, Gainerie 91, Procédés Chénel, Maison Alivon and Daumet. This inspiring event will shine a light on the creativity and innovative power of French craftsmanship.
Norki, EPV-certified Maison and artisan creator
Norki is a Maison that has inherited an artisanal savoir-faire applied to precious materials. We shape skins and furs to transform them into objects dedicated to the art of living. Throughout our history, we have enriched our expertise and affirmed a unique vision of refinement, guided by ever-renewed creative freedom.
Artistic direction by Sonia Linard
Under the artistic direction of Sonia Linard, founder of the Maison, each piece is entirely handcrafted in France. Our creations combine the standards of haute couture with the nobility of exceptional materials. Unique and durable, our rugs, throws, cushions, furniture and seating come to life in our Atelier, a true sanctuary dedicated to precision and craftsmanship.
An EPV-certified Maison of Artisans
Proudly certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, Norki embodies French artisanal excellence. This prestigious label reflects our commitment to the crafts sector and our dedication to French-made expertise. Our three pillars of excellence — the creation of decorative objects in hide and fur, fine upholstery, and bespoke interior design — demonstrate our passion and our pursuit of exceptional quality. Each creation represents our desire to preserve and promote outstanding French savoir-faire.
Sonia Linard also holds a strong institutional commitment as President of Réseau Excellence for Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant in the Grand Est region. Elected for a two-year term, she brings her exacting vision and passion for exceptional craftsmanship to strengthen ties between the region’s most distinguished Maisons. Her ambition is to defend the interests of EPV-certified companies, encourage long-term synergies and promote the transmission of rare artisanal skills across generations. Through her work, she actively contributes to the promotion of the Grand Est’s living heritage on both local and national stages.
Our prototypes, the Yaga chair and table
Our prototypes — the Yaga chair and table crafted in blackened solid wood and cowhide — reflect the creativity and identity of our Maison. Each colour nuance, grain pattern and fringe is unique. The wood is shaped by hand and the cowhide is carefully selected for its distinctive character.
The woodworking showcases ancestral know-how, while the treatment of fringes and upholstery stitching recalls the standards of haute couture. The meticulous time devoted to each detail makes these creations both innovative and durable, marked by a strong personality. They embody the excellence of our EPV-certified upholsterers and fur artisans.
A responsible, fully controlled French production
Our creations follow a complete value chain. Materials are rigorously selected in-house and fabrication is carried out in France by expert artisans within our Atelier. The finished pieces combine contemporary aesthetics, durability and high-quality natural materials to meet the expectations of the luxury market.
Our Maison is committed to environmental responsibility. We work exclusively with raw materials and by-products from the agri-food industry sourced from French and European regions, ensuring impeccable quality and alignment with our ethical values.
The upcycling of leather offcuts has become a true field of creative exploration. This long-standing reflection led us to design a collection of delicately crafted objects adorned with fringes, giving new expression to our Signature materials.
Transforming the essential and enhancing what already exists is at the core of our responsible approach. This commitment, guided by excellence and respect for our savoir-faire, gives rise to a meaningful and sustainable form of luxury.
