Norki and Maison Pommery present an exceptional champagne case
There are encounters that go far beyond a simple collaboration to become self-evident partnerships. Celle entre la Maison Pompadour et la Maison Norki unquestionably belongs to this category. They share the same vision: to showcase the excellence of French craftsmanship through exceptional creations, where time, precision, and passion come together to give birth to unique works.
Today, these two exceptional Houses unite to unveil a rare case, conceived as a true work of art. More than a mere object, this case symbolizes the meeting of two creative worlds driven by high standards, beauty, and a desire to anchor creation in the long term.
Maison Pompadour and Maison Norki each embody, in their own way, the quintessence of French savoir-faire. The former, Champagne house created by Maison Pommery, embraces the heritage of a great tradition while asserting a resolutely contemporary vision of champagne. It perpetuates the French art of entertaining with elegance and finesse, while offering a modernized signature aimed at connoisseurs around the world.
The latter, Norki, stands as a benchmark in the art of working leather and fur. An artisan-creator, the House elevates these noble materials, transforming them into objects dedicated to the art of living. Under the artistic direction of Sonia Linard, each piece is designed and handcrafted in France, with the precision of a haute couture house and an exceptional attention to detail.
Together, these two Houses create an elegant symbiosis: a meeting of artisanal mastery, artistic sensitivity, and timeless excellence.
The end of 2025 will mark a significant milestone for the Maison Pommery & Associés, with the official launch of Maison Pompadour’s commercial activity.
As the first major Champagne House to be founded in the 21st Century, it boldly carries a new vision: offering a champagne that combines singularity, authenticity, and modernity. Its collection of vintages from the Clos Pompadour embodies this pursuit of absolute quality, designed to captivate champagne lovers around the world.
True to the motto ‘Everything must change so that nothing changes’, Maison Pompadour draws inspiration from the legacy of Henry Vasnier and the Clos Pompadour vineyard, planted in the 19th Century. For nearly twenty years, bottle designs, blending trials, and discussions about colours, lines and textures refined a vision: to combine technical excellence, elegant form and emotion.
A Maison with rare expertise, Norki works with precious materials through constantly renewed creativity. Under the guidance of Sonia Linard, each creation becomes a statement piece: rugs, throws, cushions, furniture, seating—each entirely handcrafted in its French atelier. This workshop, a true artisanal sanctuary, is home to women with golden hands, who bring to life durable, elegant objects imbued with meaning.
Norki further enriches this universe through a rigorous curation of vintage pieces by leading 20th-Century designers, restored with the same passion.
The case imagined for this collaboration goes far beyond its role as a presentation object. It is intended as an artistic manifesto, the result of patient, meticulous work deeply rooted in artisanal tradition. Every line, material, and finish bears witness to the care devoted to its creation.
It is at the heart of the Pommery estate, an emblematic site steeped in history, that this case draws its inspiration. More than a simple setting, this place embodies the soul and distinctive architecture of Maison Pommery & Associés. It represents the heritage dimension of the project—the living memory of a savoir-faire passed down through generations.
Upon opening this case, the world of Norki unfolds before your eyes. Fine materials come to life, and the craftsman's touch can be seen in every stitch, every texture, every detail. The object becomes a bridge between two worlds: that of exceptional champagne and that of fine decoration.
At the heart of this case naturally rests a bottle from Maison Pompadour, a symbol modernity and viticultural excellence.
To celebrate this unique collaboration, an inaugural evening will be held on February 20th, 2026 from 6pm, at the Norki boutique in Gstaad. This exclusive event will offer guests the opportunity to discover the case in an intimate and refined atmosphere.
