Imagine a competition where creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship come together to bring captivating worlds to life. The Trophée Norki for Future Craftsmanship offers this unique opportunity: a challenge where diverse talents unite to explore a theme, combining their skills to design original and bold works. It is the perfect occasion for a group of ten students to come together, inspire one another, and push the boundaries of their imagination while taking on the same artistic challenge. Whether it’s reimagining everyday objects, proposing innovative concepts, or bringing visionary creations to life, this competition is a true laboratory of ideas where the craftsmanship of the future takes shape.
The Norki Trophy for Future Craftsmanship is an annual competition dedicated to emerging young talents, aiming to encourage aspiring artisans in the fields of design, luxury, and rare craftsmanship. Rooted in a commitment to excellence and the transmission of know-how, this trophy embodies the values of Norki while providing an exceptional platform for the creators of tomorrow.
For this first edition, participants were invited to design a desk item or imagine a complete workspace inspired by the iconic style of Le Corbusier, focusing on modernism and functionality. After a rigorous selection phase, the students presented their innovative projects, each reflecting a unique vision of contemporary design.
The selection of the three finalist laureates has already taken place, but the suspense remains! The grand winner of this first edition will be unveiled on May 21st, during a ceremony that promises to be a significant moment to celebrate innovation and artisanal talent.
The Trophée Norki offers a prize of 2,000 euros to the winning class, thus supporting the development of creative projects by young talents.
As for the first prize, it is not just an honorary distinction: the winner will benefit from exceptional promotion through the competition’s media coverage. Their creation will be highlighted through reports by partner publications, featured in the official communication materials of the competition, and showcased in the specialized press. A valuable opportunity to gain exposure and showcase their craftsmanship to a wide audience.
The first edition of the Trophée Norki is open to students enrolled in public high schools and institutions across France. Seven original projects, each bearing a unique and innovative vision, are in competition this year. Participants have gone above and beyond to propose works that reflect both the theme of this edition and the Norki universe.
The projects were evaluated based on several criteria: coherence with the year’s theme, the quality of flat drawings, 2D and 3D representations, and the creation of a model faithful to Norki’s aesthetic. Here are some previews of the creations in the running for the 2025 Trophée Norki.
For this first edition, the chosen theme is: “The Office of Tomorrow According to Le Corbusier.” A bold choice by Norki’s leaders, aiming to pay tribute to the renowned architect while stimulating the imagination of young creators.
Inspired by the modernist concepts dear to Le Corbusier, participants are invited to rethink the workspace of tomorrow, integrating innovative, functional, and aesthetic approaches while adhering to Norki’s distinctive codes. This theme presents a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their creativity and propose projects that are both visionary and rooted in the heritage of contemporary design.
The Trophée Norki is surrounded by a prestigious jury composed of influential figures from the world of design, press, and luxury craftsmanship. Passionate and recognized for their expertise, these jury members embody the ambition of this competition and will bring their discerning eye to select the winner.
The final deliberation will take place on May 26th, during which the grand winner will be announced.
These renowned personalities will bring their expertise and artistic sensitivity to evaluate the participants' projects, in line with the values and spirit of the Trophée Norki.
