WORKSHOP SECRET
With its vibrant balmy scent, Soleil Royal celebrates the simple, soothing, and ever so bracing sensation of finding freshness on a hot summer day. Picturing a citrus garden nested on a white cliff swept by the sea winds, this scent carries an earthy wood base made of cedar, juniper and eucalyptus grown on dry limestone, at variance with the luscious fragrance of freshly squeezed fruit and the delicate sweetness of orange blossom. Spiced up by the unique verve of basil giving it a majestic final touch, Soleil Royal is a cool lively whiff awakening all the senses with its rich olfactory palette while uplifting the mind with its surprising spontaneity. Imagined in Switzerland as objects of desire and crafted in France as works of art, Buji candles blend the sensuality of sculpture with the elegance of jewellery, enhanced by contemporary design. Carved from the purest white alabaster from Spain, each container holds a soy wax candle that emits captivating scents made from natural ingredients. Created in association with British perfumer Lyn Harris, the candle fragrances capture suspended moments in time, fleeting journeys through romantic lands, narrated through daydreams and contemplation.

An insatiable adventurer with a curious spirit, Sophie Margaux, the founder of Buji, is a German-born interior designer living in Switzerland, near the Bernese Alps, where she finds inspiration in the serene yet intense natural landscapes. Convinced of the spiritual power of scented candles but disappointed by their banal design, she decided to create Buji as an artistic interpretation, leveraging her avant-garde curator’s eye to design a vessel that would finally reflect the fleeting poetry of the fragrance.
