Josef Frank was an Austrian architect and designer, naturalised in Sweden, whose influence on modern design is undeniable. Born in 1885, he fled Nazi Austria in 1933 and settled in Sweden. It was here that he really developed his unique style, in collaboration with the famous Swedish firm Svenskt Tenn.
