A Set of Six Dinning Chairs by Henning Kjærnulf
A set of 6 mid-20th century dining chairs designed by Henning Kjærnulf. The backs of these chairs are slightly curved, and have a razor-blade shape that gives them their distinctive style.
A combination of Baroque style, thanks to the shape of the legs, and Scandinavian style, thanks to the simplicity of the shapes. The combination of styles makes these chairs almost brutalist. Design Henning Kjærnulf®
All our vintage furniture is sourced by our Maison and entirely renovated in our Workshop. Unique pieces revisited, a NORKI signature.

WORKSHOP SECRET
Razorblade.
The shape of these chairs is intriguing. The backrest is subtly curved, giving us the image of a razor.
A high level of craftsmanship revealing hand-carved details.
Danish designer/architect. A mystery. We know much more about his pieces than about himself.
He was influenced by American modern design, which emphasised functionality and simplicity.
His most famous creations are the Model 71 dining chair and the Model 68 dining table.
Today, his creations are highly prized by collectors and fans of Danish design.
