This ceramic jar is open-top and comes with a lid on top. The circular body is covered with star-shaped floral forms, leaves, and organic elements in relief that enliven the rim. The lid, treated as a compact bouquet, combines corollas, butterflies, and spirals recurring motifs in the artist's work.

The vessel's function as a container remains evident but recedes behind the density of the motifs and the autonomous presence of the decorated form. The work is part of Morgane Salmon's exploration of the abundance of plants and living things. Morgane Salmon

Based in Strasbourg, Morgane Salmon develops a prolific practice from her studio, intertwining ceramics, printmaking, and watercolor. It is within this creative space that she shapes a unique artistic universe, deeply rooted in the observation of nature and its metamorphoses.

A creator of dreamlike worlds, she conceives her works as veritable imaginary gardens. Saturated with flowers, leaves, animals, and spiral motifs, her creations meticulously explore the proliferating vitality of the living world. Each piece unfolds like an organic celebration where liberated forms are in perpetual transformation.

Widely recognized in the contemporary art scene, her work has been the subject of a monograph published by l'Atelier Contemporain. Exhibited at the Halle Saint Pierre museum, at the Grand Palais during Art Paris, and at Art Monte-Carlo, her works are now part of major private collections in Switzerland, Monaco, and Paris, including the prestigious Rigo-Saitta collection.
