Set of 3 Small Ceramic Vases by Karin Björquist
This refined set of three small ceramic vases was designed by the talented Swedish ceramist Karin Björquist. The pieces feature rich shades ranging from very dark brown to deep black, creating a subtle interplay of tones. These objects embody the understated elegance and artisanal craftsmanship characteristic of Scandinavian design. Used as decorative elements or as containers for small flowers or dried herbs, they add a warm and authentic touch. A set to collect or to gift. Design Karin Björquist®

WORKSHOP SECRET
A pure style.
Karin Björquist's work is fully in keeping with the tradition of Scandinavian design, favouring clean lines, organic shapes and natural materials. Her vases are often compared to sculptures, such is their meticulous aesthetic.
Karin was one of Sweden's most influential 20th-century ceramists. Part of the Nordic design tradition, which seeks to create everyday objects that are both aesthetically pleasing and accessible to all, she studied art at Konstfack in Stockholm before spending more than 40 years working for the Gustavsberg factory.
Karin has made a name for herself as a designer of tableware and works of art, with iconic series such as "Indigo", "R'd kant" and "Svart ruter". Her work is on display at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
