A fusion of light and glass, this moodboard envisions a chalet where contemporary architecture enters into dialogue with furniture of essential, restrained lines. The composition unfolds with clarity and precision, where the radical purity of architectural volumes meets the softness and tactility of carefully chosen materials.
In conceiving this interior, we sought to create a sense of timeless comfort, one capable of resonating with the majesty of the Alpine landscape. Expansive panoramic openings invite nature into the living space, allowing the mountain itself to become an integral component of the architecture.
Our vision for this contemporary alpine environment was to conceive it as a total work, where architecture, interior design, and landscape merge into a seamless and natural continuity. The furniture follows a deliberately restrained language.
Within this moodboard, the harmony of natural materials, soft tactile textures, bespoke furnishings, and a palette of mineral and earth-inspired tones establishes an atmosphere of deep serenity. Noble materials remain at the heart of our Maison’s identity: shearling, pony hair, marble, and brass compose a subtle dialogue in which each element enhances the beauty of the others.
Another signature gesture lies in the carefully balanced introduction of vintage Scandinavian bamboo pieces, bringing an unexpected warmth and sculptural presence to this interior defined by clarity and restraint.
Here, we also embrace the idea of allowing space itself to remain present. By respecting moments of emptiness and visual breathing, the chalet remains open, quiet, and contemplative. Within this approach, the surrounding landscape becomes the true interior décor. Nature shapes the perspectives, marks the passing seasons, and leaves its imprint on the space. The atmosphere emerges from these subtle balances—space, light, and landscape. A sense of freedom settles in, almost meditative, rooted in a profound respect for the place itself.
