The Family Chalet

A Sanctuary of Legacy by Norki

In the magical land high up in the mountains, you can drink the sun with a straw like a big glass of orange juice.

How to reinvent the family chalet as a contemporary luxury retreat without falling into clichés?

To this quest for balance between memory and modernity, Maison Norki responds with an architectural language steeped in softness, where every space is designed as the setting for a stylish and effortless family life.

The Moodboard: A Symphony of Organic Nuances

The moodboard for this project moves away from radical contrasts to explore a soothing chromatic palette. Powdered beiges, chestnut glazes, and cream whites compose an atmosphere of absolute serenity. Here, luxury does not seek ostentation, but rather precision.

In the reception areas, vast sofas with generous volumes, crafted by our upholstery department, invite gathering. Covered in shearling, they provide a protective envelope for adults, while younger ones claim the space by settling onto fur rugs of incomparable softness. This dialogue between generations is at the heart of our vision: creating places where comfort is a universal language.

Playful Boldness and the Monumental

The intelligence of Studio Chalet lies in its ability to adapt luxury to the realities of family life. Bathrooms, designed to withstand the overflowing energy of children, maintain a spirit of whimsy: a bathtub with ball feet meets vibrant, joyful red faucets. This touch of primary color awakens the neutrality of noble materials.

The kitchen, meanwhile, takes on a monumental dimension. The central hub of the chalet, it is designed for large gatherings while maintaining a clean, contemporary line. This avoids the pitfall of austere functionality in favor of an architecture of conviviality.

Objects of Memory and EPV Craftsmanship

Every detail is a tender reminder of shared moments. A signature piece, such as a vintage rocking chair sourced and restored in our workshops, becomes the guardian of evening stories. This attention to the object, whether an original creation or a historical design piece, is the hallmark of our couture workshop, awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label.

Dedicated spaces for play and imagination are created so that the joy of being together can be expressed freely. For Norki, the family chalet is not a static set, but a living heritage that grows more beautiful with each passing winter.
