Sonia Linard, founder and artistic director of Norki, and her husband Thierry, both passionate about mid-20th-century vintage design, share their enthusiasm and appreciation for Scandinavian furniture from the 1930s to the 1970s. These iconic pieces, offering unparalleled comfort, reflect a way of life that deserves to be shared.

Our French Maison has created this curation to combine brilliantly with her different objects : rugs, cushions, throws or furniture.

Traditional Upholstery

Jute strapping, spring installation, horsehair filling, the ladder stitch, the straight stitch, sanding the legs and the scent of varnish applied to the wood; these traditional stages specific to upholstery are one of our Maison’s specialities.

The rebirth of a piece through Artisan'Art at Norki:
Beyond a simple restoration, we offer a rebirth to your vintage pieces. We breathe new life into these treasures of the past, allowing them to regain their splendour.

COVERED ARMCHAIRS

We take great care of each piece before it leaves for delivery. Each piece of furniture is carefully encased in a custom-made cocoon of embroidered fabric bearing the designer's name, and if you wish, personalized with your name.

Far from being a simple wrapping, this careful and signed packaging is offered to you like a gift under the Christmas tree, like a jewel in its gift box.
