WORKSHOP SECRET
"In this work by Flore, the viewer is struck by the artist's intoxicating love of art. It is a painting of passion, openness, and a colorful adventure. Here, she demonstrates an insatiable thirst for art. We discover the sunlit colors of this enchanted garden, somewhat reminiscent of Claude Monet's garden at Giverny. Everything exudes warmth and joy of living, as if the light bathing the whole scene were natural.
The window has just been opened, and we can touch the intangible lightness of these incredible ranges of colors. For once, the work is no longer silent; we can hear the wind rustling through all these flowering branches and the murmur of the water that nourishes them."
Alain Renner, former Vice President of Sotheby’s France
flore sigrist
Flore Sigrist, a Franco-Swiss artist born in Strasbourg in 1985, started painting very young, at seven years old, and quickly showed exceptional talent. She was introduced to the public in 1995 during the first Sotheby’s auction in Monaco. Her abstract works are invitations to an inner journey, where each person can interpret freely according to their imagination, without predefined codes.
