Abstract Artwork by Flore Sigrist – Acrylic Canvas
Flore Sigrist's painting, a hallmark of dreamlike abstract expressionism, shines with captivating chromatic vigour. The colours, applied with energetic vertical strokes, convey an emotional intensity and spontaneity characteristic of modern painting.
Each brushstroke, sometimes fluid, sometimes abrupt, adds movement and depth, creating an abstract universe that invites exploration of the nuances of the human soul. This abstract painting, with its dynamic and vibrant colours, pairs beautifully with our Atya armchair and Abysse throw. Together, they create a contemporary and refined ambiance, where art and design converge to offer a unique visual and sensory experience as Norki loves them so much.

WORKSHOP SECRET
"Let us attempt to delve into Flore's inner reality, despite the challenge it poses, as it is difficult to understand the intellectual journey that led to this work. The symbols and colours—blue and yellow—are juxtaposed like on the Ukrainian flag: is this a reflection or an engagement with current events?
Flore is fascinated by nature and its magic. Here, she combines the two colours like musical notes, guiding us through her scales of happiness. She leads us towards an experience of mediation between the real and her conception of the unreal. This mediation allows us to reach immense emotions, blending all subjectivities."
Alain Renner, former vice-president of Sotheby’s France
flore sigrist
A Franco-Swiss artist born in Strasbourg in 1985, Flore Sigrist began painting at the age of seven and quickly revealed exceptional talent. In 1995, she was introduced to the public during the first Sotheby’s auction in Monaco. Her abstract paintings are invitations to travel, allowing each viewer to interpret and imagine according to their own perception, without imposed codes.
