Rörstrand.
Röstrand is a famous Swedish porcelain brand, known for the quality and beauty of its creations. Founded in 1726, it is one of the oldest porcelain factories in Europe.
Today, Röstrand continues to fascinate porcelain lovers around the world. The brand offers timeless collections as well as more contemporary creations, adapting to current lifestyles.
Active in both Sweden and Denmark, Gunnar Nylund is particularly known for his work for Rörstrand. The son of artist parents, a ceramist, painter and sculptor, he was immersed in the artistic world. He studied architecture in Copenhagen in the 1920s.
He decided to highlight his talents as a ceramist, which were passed on in his family.
Nylund's work is characterized by innovation through the search for new aesthetics that combine everything with functionality.
