Gillis Lundgren (1929 – 2016)

A pillar of IKEA design.
Gillis Lundgren was a Swedish designer who played a key role in creating the IKEA style we know today.

As the company's fourth employee, he worked closely with IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad to develop simple, functional and affordable furniture.
